By creating a Joti account or using the Joti app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use Joti. See also our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data.
Joti is a workout tracking app: build and schedule workouts, log training sessions, and review your history and stats. Some features use AI — either Joti's own in-app AI search and insights, or, if you choose to connect one, a third-party AI assistant (see "Third-party AI connections" below).
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Joti is not directed at children under 13, and you must not use Joti if you are under 13.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion does and doesn't affect.
Some features require a paid subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple/Google are the merchant of record for these purchases — they handle payment, billing, auto-renewal, and refunds under their own terms and policies, not Joti's. Cancel or manage your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings.
Deleting your Joti account does not cancel an active subscription — that must be cancelled separately through Apple or Google.
You own the workout data you create in Joti. You grant us a licence to store, process, and display it back to you as part of operating the service (including sending relevant parts of it to the third-party services described in the Privacy Policy). We don't claim ownership of your data and don't sell it.
Joti offers an optional connection that lets a third-party AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) read your workout data and create or schedule workouts on your behalf, via an explicit connection you set up and approve at joti.kompetic.com/connect. Once connected, that AI provider processes the data it receives under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours. You can review and revoke any connection at any time from Joti Settings.
Don't use Joti to violate the law, interfere with the service, attempt to access another user's account or data, or reverse-engineer the app beyond what's permitted by applicable law.
Joti helps you plan and track exercise — it does not provide medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have an existing health condition. You're responsible for exercising safely and within your own limits; use Joti at your own risk.
Joti is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joti is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under law that cannot lawfully be excluded (for example, under the Australian Consumer Law).
You may stop using Joti and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction — to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the Contact Support option in the app, or to [email protected].
